Diving in El Nido is perfect for first time as well as experienced divers. Bacuit bay is divided in 3 diving areas which offer more than 20 dive sites. The underwater sceneries includes drop down as far as 50 meters, coral gardens, sandy bottoms, gently descending slopes, barracudas and groupers. Its many islands are fascinating not just for their white sand beaches and Caribbean blue waters but also for their picturesque rock formations, limestone walls and hidden lagoons.
One the amazing destinations that you must add to your travel list upon going to Palawan is Linapacan Island. It is an island municipality in the province that is situated south of the famous Calamian Group and located between Coron to the north. Last October 2013, the beautiful island is listed as One of the “35 Clearest Waters in the World to Swim in Before You Die” by American News site Daily News Dig and it emerged at the top spot. The island features its white sands and the crystalline waters and a paradise that is comparable to the finest white sand beach of Boracay.Activities in Linapacan includes diving, snorkling, and underwater photography. Linapacan is unquestionably a haven for people who simply want to enjoy the serenity of paradise.
Coron is a must-visit place in the Palawan. It's a haven for divers all over the world with its famous World War II underwater shipwrecks surrounded with magnificent coral reefs making it as one of the best dive spots in the world. For the beach bum who wants to get their sun kissed tan, the powder white sand beaches of Coron Island is something you cannot resist. Its crystal blue water is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, diving and deep-sea fishing.
Apo Reef is a coral reef system in the Philippines situated on the western waters of Occidental Mindoro province in the Mindoro Strait. Encompassing 34 square kilometres, it is the world's second-largest contiguous coral reef system and the largest in the country.
